'PRODUCTION OF SPACE' - Friend, Perhaps you realize that the single most factor causing our harsh, indecent living in this society is hopelessness. Most of us (of all communities - Bengali/Telugu) in the entire sub-continent are infected by ?Culture of Poverty? (Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class/sex, lives in pavement or apartment. We do nurture Poverty right inside our own home, material poverty is a secondary issue here. We are least concerned/ashamed about our deep-rooted corruption, bad Politics, decaying quality of life, poor work place, weak mother language, non-stop consumption of social Space. The conventional practice of ours - becoming parents only by self-procreation (animal instinct, blunt consumerism), use to deprive the basic rights of a caring society and dignified living to all our children, deliberately compel the entire generation to survive within a society where quality Space is almost eroded. If freedom is desired from vicious cycle of poverty has to put a simple commitment in our own mindset to induce hope, participating the movement ?Production of Space?(Henri Lefebvre), reshape our lifestyle, adapt alternative positive values - stop giving birth to any child (discontinuation) till our society improves substantially, co-parenting children those are born in extreme poverty, instead. Somewhere something has to begin with, at least, competent & decent Politics would certainly come up. +91 9051147375.
